COVID-19 Information and Procedure Page

The WFYB is following the COVID-19 situation daily. Our mission is to keep our dancers and families as safe as possible. Please check back to the WFYB website, Facebook page or call the studio before you head out for classes for any cancellations. We will update daily. Below is our procedures and protocalls during this time;

 If the WFISD closes schools for an exstended time we will close the dance school as well.

If your dancer is sick or says they do not feel well, no matter what the symptoms are, PLEASE do not bring them to class. If during class they do not feel well we will call a parent imediatly to come and pick up the dancer.

If your dancer or anyone in your family has been sick in last 24 hours we ask that you do not bring your dancer to the studio. If your dancer has had fever, vommiting, diarreah, or been not feeling well we ask that they have been symptom free and without fever reducing medicine for 24 hours before they return to dance class.

 Below are the protocalls we will be using at the studio;

  • We will ask that all students and parents 3 and older wear masks when entering the studio. We are working on age appropriate guideline for mask wearing during class times.

  •  We will be disenfectiong all barres before and after classes.

  • Temperature will be taken to enter the studio for all dancers, families and sibblings.

  •  We ask that all dancers and Teachers hand sanatize or wash hands before and after classes.

  •  We will close the water fountain and ask that dancers please bring their own water bottles to classes until further notice.

  •   Each night the studio will be getting a deep cleaning of all counter tops, barres, door handles, light switches and bathrooms with clorox wipes.

  •    We ask that families, if possible, stay in their cars duirng class time to limit the number of families in the lobby. Social distancing seems to be a number one recommendation from the CDC. In the Fall we will have chairs in the lobby and outside 6 ft. apart for our families if you need to be in the building.

  •    We will be distancing our dancers 6 feet from one another in classes. Class sizes will be smaller following occupency guidelines.

  •   We ask that you remind your dancers about keeping their hands to themselves and how important this behavior is during this time.

  •   We ask that dancers do not show up too early to class and just hang out. Keeping in mind the social distancing and the close spaces at the studio. Better to show up 5 minutes beofre class to limit the time spent in a group.

Our number one mission is to keep everyone safe. We will follow any guidlines set out by the Wichita Falls Health Department, Our Stae and City Government and the CDC. We hope this will slow down this spread and that we can get back to life as normal.
